Fixing a word with Find & Replace
Find & Replace lets you swap a word or phrase in one book's translation, a display-time fix that never re-translates anything.

Overview
Sometimes a translation gets a name or term wrong. A character's name comes out as a literal translation instead of staying a name, or a word gets rendered in a way you just don't like. Find & Replace fixes that, for one book, without re-translating anything.
Where to find it
On desktop, there's a "Find & Replace" button in the reader header. On mobile, it's in the reader's menu, also labeled "Find & Replace".
How it works
Type the word or phrase you want to find, and what you want it replaced with. That's it. Lexxio applies the swap across that book's translation from then on.
Matching is whole-word and case-insensitive, and it catches the plural form automatically when relevant. For languages where pluralization is more complex than adding an "s", there's a toggle for whether the replacement should follow that language's own pluralization rules or just English ones.
You can remove a rule at any time. The change takes effect immediately.
What it doesn't do
Find & Replace is a display-time text swap over the translation you already have. It doesn't call the AI, doesn't re-translate anything, and doesn't touch how the book was translated in the first place. It just changes what shows up on the page.
It's also scoped to a single book. A rule you set in one book never applies to any other book in your library, even if the same word or name shows up elsewhere.
Don't confuse this with saving words to study. Find & Replace changes what text you see, it isn't a vocabulary tool. If you want to save a word to review later, see Saving words while you read.
